Ghosts Season 6 Premiere: 'Halloween 6: The Mirror' Haunts CBS Tomorrow

The Ghosts Are Back

CBS's Ghosts returns for season 6 tomorrow, Thursday 29 October 2026, and it opens with a Halloween tradition: a two-part episode called "Halloween 6: The Mirror". That's two episodes on the same night, so plan your snacks.

Part one is written by Guy Endore-Kaiser and part two by Rupinder Gill. Cortney Carrillo directs both.

Previously, at Woodstone

Season 5 ended on a big cliffhanger (spoilers ahead if you're behind):

Tad sold his stake in Woodstone to the Evercreek water company. Evercreek plans to tear the house down within three days and build a data centre.
A local historian said none of the ghosts were famous enough for Woodstone to count as a historic landmark.
Then Nancy revealed her real name: Adeline Marie Dunham, a missing English princess.

So the season opens with a mansion about to be bulldozed, a surprise royal, and a mirror. We have no idea how the mirror fits in either, and that's half the fun.

The Show in One Sentence

New Yorkers Sam and Jay inherit a crumbling country house that turns out to be full of ghosts who died on the property. Only Sam can see them. The show is based on the British series of the same name, adapted for CBS by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman.

CBS renewed it for seasons 5 and 6 together in February 2025.

Surviving Until Showtime

Rewatch the season 5 finale. The data-centre plot is going to matter.
Pick your favourite ghost. Then argue about it online.
Do not buy any mirrors this week. We're just saying.
