Cyberpunk 2077's Edgerunners 2 Update (2.5) is out now!
In the City of (Broken) Dreams, it’s not about how you flatline. What matters most is the impact you make with the time you’re given. Check out the launch trailer celebrating both the second installment in the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime series, available now on Netflix, as well as Cyberpunk 2077 and its newly released update, featuring content inspired by the show.
What's New
The free Edgerunners 2 Update (2.5) launched on 22 October 2026, together with a launch trailer that celebrates the update and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, the anime's second season, now on Netflix.
The highlights:
- Clampdown, a new side quest set before the events of Edgerunners 2, plus a 5-piece gear set based on King.
- A new radio station, HKGN 102.0 FM, playing tracks from the anime.
- Cyberware customisation at five Glamdocs, and the Double Trouble perk for dual-wielding pistols and revolvers.
- Cross-platform mod support through mod.io, on PC, Mac, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
- A new side quest, Paradise, plus 12 new Minor Arcana tarot cards.

The Notable Fixes
The patch fixes the Delamain cab getting stuck after a crash and Film Grain doing nothing when switched on. It also restores the missing controller settings for the third-person camera, along with lots of smaller fixes since Patch 2.1.
What It Means for Players
If you finished Night City years ago, this is a good excuse to go back. You get a new story thread tied to the anime and a whole new way to fight with dual pistols. On consoles, mods are now just a menu away.
Funny Closing Line
So binge Edgerunners 2, then load up Night City and live out the anime yourself. Preferably with fewer tragic endings. No promises.
