PAW Patrol: A Zuma Pirate Adventure Sets Sail on 30 October

The Short Version

PAW Patrol: Ahoy, Dude! A Zuma Pirate Adventure premieres on Nickelodeon on Friday 30 October 2026 at 10:00 a.m. ET/PT. It's an hour-long special, now listed under the shorter title A Zuma Pirate Adventure. Viewers outside the US get it later: Nick Jr. Global airs it on Saturday 14 November at 12:00 CET.

The Story

According to Nickelodeon's description:

  • Adventure Bay has a brand-new pirate-themed holiday, but Zuma isn't in a festive mood.
  • He made a big blunder on a recent rescue, so the most laid-back pup on the team has gone super-serious.
  • Then a real pirate turns up, bent on finding hidden treasure and willing to wreck Adventure Bay to get it.

So it's a story about a chill water-rescue pup who has to get his confidence back while pirates attack. That's a decent lesson for any kid who's had a bad day at school, and for any adult who's had a bad day at work.

Where It Fits

This is the fifth and last of PAW Patrol's run of five hour-long specials, each built around a different pup. Zuma finally gets his turn in the spotlight, and the title borrows his surfer-speak catchphrase. A tie-in book is coming too: Random House's Step into Reading Ahoy, Dude! tells the same story.

How to Watch

Zuma, the Labrador on water rescue, after a mistake shakes his confidence.

Is it the same story as the book?

The Step into Reading book Ahoy, Dude! has the same premise: a pirate fun day, a serious Zuma, and a real pirate hunting treasure.
